The Well believes that all scripture (both the Old and New Testament) is God breathed, inerrant and inspired by the Holy Spirit. We believe in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe God the Father sent his only son, Jesus, as sacrifice needed for our sins. We believe Jesus lived a blameless life and was crucified on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead three days later, conquering sin and death to offer eternal life and direct access to God the Father for all of mankind.
We believe that Jesus walked amongst his followers after his resurrection, ascended into heaven and is currently seated at the right hand of the Father, and that salvation is found in Jesus alone. We believe Jesus left the Holy Spirit for us as a guide and intercessor on our behalf. Before Jesus ascended, He commanded all believers to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is the eternal triune God and exists in all three distinct persons of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe the Church is comprised of all believers and is the bride of Christ through baptism. We believe Jesus will be returning for His bride and that all of mankind is called to be ready for his imminent return. Until his return, we believe we are called to live a life of submission and partnership to the good news of the gospel, to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others with the love that transformed us—until all have heard of the hope we have in Christ Jesus our Lord. |
